Thanks Philippe (and Ric, Leonard) Yes, lucky. And for his brothers too. They were crazy experimenters in their youth, among many things making a 6" reflecting telescope out of 2x4's + their home-ground lenses, and an enlarger out of coffee cans that had the lens set into an industrial brass nut about 3" in diameter, for focusing. This is down in my basement now. I am fortunate that I can still use the same camera that took so many of my childhood pictures.
