Thank-you so much for summing up my attitude as well, Walt.

For me, the darkroom has always been a necessary evil (necessary
because I can't afford to have someone else do it for me). If I ever
got a feel for color and went over to that instead, I'd never look
back.

I'm sure there are photographers who are great in the darkroom too.
But we read about them in books. It's a rare combination and curiously
they all take pictures of peppars and moons.
