The first in awhile. Even though the wind chill was around 25F I needed the exercise but didn't plan on taking any bird photos. All I had was my 70-200 zoom and a 2X extender with me. Not a good birding setup. I say this hawk after about 10 minutes into my walk. But he wouldn't let me get close. He flew off and perched about four different times. I followed him about a half mile. The closest I got was about 150 feet which is where I took this shot. It's about a 3X crop but since I hadn't posted a bird photo in quite some time I posted it anyway. I'm sure he had his eye on me the whole time. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/LeonardT/Birds/255L0986_Hawk.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/327ne2 c & c welcome.
