Hi Geoff,

You are right that you can always use their DNG converter. I do  
convert my RAW files to DNG when I import them into Lightroom  
(Lightroom does work with the latest Camera Raw version). I just  
think it is inconvenient to have to use a separate application for  
RAW conversion, and I do not believe there is any technical reason  
why Adobe could not let CS2 support the latest Camera Raw version.
