When I get home from work I will post samples of what it looks like if you just point a camera at the moon rising on the Blackwater River. I will post the pieces from which I had this composite was made along with a statement of the experience I wanted to share and an admission that I am so bad with photo shop that I had to ask one of the guys at the lab who does my printing to make the composite for me. Usually I think a picture should be a picture, depicting a real scene as intreperted and experienced by the photographer. If I can't do it on an easel in the darkroom I don't do it in photoshop. Not so much out of virtue, but because I also don't know how to do it. It this particular case there is something I see, want to say, and want to share which I have seen, but can't find to photograph. So I have to break my rule about creating post production an image which didn't exist in real life. I am in the deep end of the pool with too much water in my mouth and nose.
