Why isn't the 15 rangefinder coupled?  Anyone know?  Technical limitation?

All of this begs the question ? why isn't the 15mm Distagon rangefinder

which lens also isn't coupled, it has to be either a matter of price or a
technical limitation. Since the price of the Distagon, unlike the Heliar,
can not be a factor, it would be interesting to know why the Zeiss lens
isn't coupled. This certainly will reduce the lens' attractiveness for some
potential users.
