The upgrade includes our signature Leica "Red Dot" engraved along side the yellow number "25". DeBeers diamond mines are in charge of the custom 2kt engraving process. The 2nd part to this upgrade includes a new sapphire molded rear lens mount which is almost unbreakable at high temperatures of 10 C. Finally the 3rd upgrade includes a Tibetan yak bladder ultra smooth carrying case form fitted for your D Summilux ASPH lens. This is the first of many future upgrades to our super bright ED and Super ED Four Thirds mount lens. Returning your lens by May 1st 2008 to Leica will ensure your place in line for upgrades. We estimate upgrades will be performed and finished by May 31st 2015 and will then be returned by small boat freight mail to your return address. VAT of 75% may be added to shipment depending on location. Residents of Baghdad and Kabul will be credited back in poppy seeds if shipment is lost during a future or current military surge on or before May 31st 2015."
