Hey Kyle,

If you're comfortable with the waist level finder stay with it as the  
prism does add some weight and upsets the balance of the camera  
somewhat. But I use the 45 deg prism with built in meter. To me it's  
much easier to focus and the view is magnificent and very bright. I  
wouldn't be without it.
