(interchangeable sensors would be a good idea: choose your own size, pixel count, IR filter, anti-aliasing or not) Software on a card (like for cellphones) and the sensor as an assembly to slot in (can't be all that more difficult than changing a focus screen). So far the rapid development of digital systems just doesn't go hand in hand with the for-everness of Leica precision engineering.
