On convention locations, of course it will never be possible to get a spot or time perfect for everyone. It does seem like there are a couple of areas with clusters of active LUG folks interested in getting together. Or at least attractive locations that people are motivated to visit. No reason why there can't be several get-togethers. It sounds like the Natchitoches gathering has got support for the November dates. The NYC area obviously has a group of LUGgers. I'm canvassing for San Francisco second week of December as you know. Sounds like it might be possible for Doug Herr too, for one. For the really adventurous, the AUSLUG is meeting in Melbourne late August! Yes. And it was a very nice hotel, and an incredible deal at the price I got. My visit coincided with the Ferrari French Quarters Classic, so there were lots of expensive cars parked at the hotel. I really should have taken photographs of the senoritas. They were quite a sight.
