Not a single issue. I suspect that if it can withstand 25-30 mile days of punishing hiking (Wonderland Trail for example around MT. Rainier) then it can handle a bit of futzing with tripod positioning. Just don't cram it down a hole or between some rocks and then try to force it horizontally and you'll be fine.
