I respectfully disagree. The various 'plastic' cameras have very
distinct and unique signatures - each as a group - and further the
individual camera. As with any other photographic tool; getting to
know your camera and lens and selecting subjects, lighting
conditions, and composing for that tool is what makes photographs
sing. In my opinion trying to holgatize an M8/50luxasph image in
photoshop would be a time-consuming, highly suspicious hoax.
