Yes, well, that bargain window contained exactly two cameras for all of
Australia and just predated the announcement of the upgrade programme.
However, an Aussie bargain price for new Leica equipment is probably about
what our US friends regard as a higher price! FWIW my new M8 was sold to me
for 20% less than the official Australian retail price at that time.
