OK, now I'm going to try to excavate down to 60's and see if I can find my Salton Sea pics. I didn't think they were that great, but then there was not as much decay. The high point might have been a seagull picking a peanut out of my hand....I guess you've seen Mark Tucker's. For something similar check out the article on the Aral Sea in this month's Scientific American.
