Yup, you NEED to take a second body on trips with you ;-) Still they do say, "what happens on trips, stays on trips" Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/e http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ Ps, sorry I can't help, but I couldn't resist either! -----Original Message----- Subject: [Leica] Repair Help...... OK, it happened again.....l. will I ever learn????? I went on vacation with my trusty M6TTL.... after lading a few rolls, suddenly the rewind knob/crank just started to turn, without the film moving. It turns freely, but the inside "grabbers" do not turn at all. Vice versa is also true.... On the trip, I used a pocket knife in the cassette slot ( under the covers of the bed, with the lights out) to rewind the film each night.. but then I was forced to use no more than 1 roll a day. I need to get this resolved.... Is there a "field " fix for the rewind knob, or do I need to send it to Sherry to get it working again? Yes, next time I WILL take a second body.....
