Good time to buy something you always wanted..... If it is rare, do not buy.... it is not cheaper. Nikon stuff has tanked pretty well. MF stuff is cheap.......Especially if it has the name Hasselblad attached to it. LF stuff is still up there. And probably will never come down substantially. On the R stuff... there is a couple of problems I see.... First the R line was never popular... so there are fewer users out there that want another body or lens. So the demand is lower. A bunch of stuff has been dumped recently ( to buy the brand N and C and whatever Digital bodies and associated lenses ) making most of the lenses ( except the 400, 560, and 800 Telyts and the small productions PC lens and Fisheye ( Zeiss ) lenses)) drop pretty significantly. Bodies like the SL2 are going for between $300 and 600... and you still need to do an overhaul on them. So they are not exactly cheap. The used R8 is going in the sub $1000 range, the R9 is just a bit more at around $1300-1400. DMR are still high, and probably, until the R10, will stay high. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
