To make you feel worse...... In the 1980's, our department, through government surplus, obtained a KE-7 with 50mm Elcan lens for about $200. We traded it in for a more usable kit: two M4-2 bodies, a winder, a 35mm black Summicron, and a 90mm Summicron. Before the deal, for fun, I took a self-portrait holding the KE-7 in vertical position so the top plate engraving showed.
