Back-focussed on my M8 by about 3 inches and near drove me nuts. I sent mine to DAG to see what could be done about it and he claimed that only partial adjustments were possible because internal parts were "loc-tited" in place. Too bad, too because the qualities of the lens, when focused, are fine. >>> From: Jeffery Smith <jsmith342@gmail.com> To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> Date: Sun, 13 Apr 2008 14:35:50 -0500 Subject: Re: [Leica] Re: Se ? oritas on the Semana Santa procession (MarkRabiner) This will no doubt infuriate some folks, but I've been very pleased with my 28/2.8 Hexanon on the M8. Doesn't seem to have any focusing or bokeh issues. I also tried my 50/2 Hexanon on the M8. Wide open, it didn't focus on what I was focusing on, if you get my drift. But still a fine f/5.6 Tri-X lens.
