This year, for the first time, I discovered by accident that one of the bushes was "occupied". The female Towhee visited the nest one more time after I trimmed around it, but I haven't seen her since. The egg markings and colors seemed unusual to me, so I thought I would share them. I believe that this is the same female that battles her image in the outside mirror of my pickup. Though I could do without the mess she creates on my truck, I did not wish to disturb her habitat. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Towhee+Nest.tif.html Comments and critiques welcomed.
