[Leica] Our Ted the doctor's doctor

I got some fantastic news this morning. Our own favourite star 
photographer and overachiever (if there is such a thing) Ted Grant is 
being invited to receive an honourary doctorate presented by the 
University of Victoria! A fantastic recognition!

It certainly took a while, but now that things have gotten going, the 
accolades keep coming!

Order of Canada, TV show & DVD and now this! He used to be our 
secret, but I'm afraid the cat is out of the bag.

I hardly know how to address him any more. Pretty soon he'll have to 
hold special audiences to allow the rest of us to have a few moments 
of his time :-).

Actually, that last is rather unfair. He'll always be the same 
approachable, down to earth guy he's always been.

It's to be presented at either the Fall 2008 convocation or the 
Spring 2009 convocation. All dependent on Ted saying yes....   As if! 
:-)


Again, all our heartfelt congratulations, Ted, on an honour that 
couldn't find a more worthy recipient!
