The Zeiss Ikon ZM I played with a few weeks ago had a bad habit. After each
shutter release, the vibration from the shutter blades opening and closing
caused the RF patch to "jump" out of focus, leading me to worry that I might
have to re-focus after each shot.

There's no way this camera is damped against vibration as well as a Leica M
is.
