Ain't that the truth frank. I managed to purchase a slightly used M4 rewind
crank for 45$ from DAG...He also sent me instructions to replace it without
removing the top plate. Sounds good to me!

Wish me luck :) Thanks to everyone who gave me help. I was freaking out
tonight because I couldn't really find too much verbose information online
(Was trying to find out how many washers were necessary)

My rewind "knob"  broke... Sherry fixed mine by replacement.. ain;t cheap!
The shaft was broken.

Glad I did not try repair on my own.....the top plate needed to be removed.

place to look for replacement parts? :(
