On a lighter note, there was always the scene in the Zucker/Abrahams/ 
Zucker (Kentucky Fried Movie/Airplane!/Naked Gun) movie "Top Secret"  
where the ceremonial keys to East Berlin were presented by guys in  
athletic drag, the East German Olympic Team.

I'm  skipping the Games this summer. It's a choreographed 'coming out'  
party for a repressive Third World police state. Any country that  
controls rabies by bludgeoning citizens' dogs to death en masse isn't  
very civilized in my book.  Their totalitarian 'hit parade' of  
repression is nothing to be proud of. Shades of Berlin 1936.
