I love that place even if everything's blue. I think its working. Today is laundry day and its been non painful and the folding of clothes I think is good. Last week I was barely able to turn over my mattress. I also got a wrap around bandage thing which you stick your thumb through but I may not be needing it. Thanks for all the off list and on list support. I think I'm on the right track. My wrist salutes you. F 2.8 and be there. mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner > From: Jeff Moore <jbm@jbm.org> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2008 16:35:18 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Wrist pain ergonomics > > 2008-08-13-00:26:34 Mark Rabiner: >> My new challenge in this wonderful new life of mine is intense wrist pain. >> My right wrist. >> I always liked my right wrist and hand. >> Last three days it seems threatening to give out on me. >> What's going on? >> Tunnel carpel no doubt. > > My girlfriend (who earns her living doing on-air graphics for live TV > news every damn' weekday, and whose work requires much mousing) started > having this problem a year or two ago. > > Her solution: she moved her computer's mouse to the left side of te > keyboard, and just cold-turkey forced herself to be a mousin' leftie. > That side hadn't had the years of overuse the right had, and presumably > has several more good years in it. > > It seems to be working: her right wrist is much better now. > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
