Hello Jan. I have the f4.5 21 and the f4 18. I use them on an M8 now. The 21
is notable for very accurate and distortion free images. I see no
appreciable vignetting effect either. The modest maximum aperture of course
helps a lot there. It is very compact and well made. The hood makes it a
little larger. Sharp and contrasty, neutral colour reproduction. Shooting
directly into the sun I have  seen more veiling glare than I would expect
from modern Leica designs. Remember the price differential. There are some
considerations with it relevant to the M8, but those don't apply with film
M's. These examples are from an M7.

The 18 is just a great lens. Really, really impressive performance.

...Just based on exteriors I will probably get the 4.5/21 C-Biogon next.
Anyone using the CZ 2.8/35 or 4.5/21 on this list? Pictures somewhere?
