(and as Doug noted - even higher ISO speeds with the sensors out perform lower ISO speed films) That said; I continue to appreciate the "different" aesthetic qualities that film and silver prints offer. I (secretly) wish an economical digital enlarger head could throw the image onto an easel. (Sort of like wishing Dr. Kaufmann and his Leica company would be something other than they, in fact, are. ;~) Note: I'm truly enjoying Dr. Kaufmann's decisions. Fun to watch. Can't wait to see the images from a Leica S2. I fully expect that they will take my breath away. Further: I expect that what they learn on the S2 journey will make the R10 a unique and well thought out "next R" whether I'll be able to afford any of it or not.
