I had very good results from Leica in New Jersey on both R8 (film Door  
display light leak, included DMR Certification )no charge and R9  
(Program Dial slippage).

But that was 2 years ago and this is now.  Might be worth the time to  
all them about the problem and get some sense of how helpful you think  
they might be.

And there's always Sherry.
