Once you have RAW files and have gone through LR editing, it's a simple task to export anything as jpegs or tiffs, so I only do that for specific jobs or projects and delete them after they've been used. If you have unlimited storage space you might consider saving jpeg or tiff files that you've done a lot of work on in PS, but edits in LR are automatically saved. >When I "develop" RAW images in LR2, then should the resulting JPGs be added >back to LR? (I presume yes) All of your "develops" or "edits" are saved in LR so you don't need to add jpegs. You can always go back to the original raw or any edit in its history and export a jpeg or a tiff in whatever size and color space you need. >If I add more photos to a folder, does LR2 update the catalog automatically? Yes, you can set it to do that. I don't because I rename them first in Breezebrowser. Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
