The fact is that it is extremely expensive for what it delivers - I am risking another contemptuous round of reactions here, which I have endured ever since the camera was released, due to my (still) negative view on the pricing. Not the camera, mind you, but the pricing. A Ferrari is brimful of the latest technical innovations. A Patek or Lange have genuine quality of handmade luxury. An M8 is neither. The lenses are another question altogether, but the body is atrociously priced.
