This "competitive advantage"
does factor into a discussion for
anyone attempting to earn their livelihood
with a camera.

Like it or not
the "travel" "portrait" "wildlife" "fashion" or "architectural"
photographer
who invests in medium format and has the skill set
to get the most out of the larger sensor format
will get the sales and contracts
due to the exceptional image quality.
This is a given.

I do not mean to imply that
a creative and skilled photographer
with lesser equipment
cannot find a way into the markets.
Yet, combining that same creativity, skill with the finest gear
will, as always, win the day.

Fond regards,
George
