Like it or not the "travel" "portrait" "wildlife" "fashion" or "architectural" photographer who invests in medium format and has the skill set to get the most out of the larger sensor format will get the sales and contracts due to the exceptional image quality. This is a given. I do not mean to imply that a creative and skilled photographer with lesser equipment cannot find a way into the markets. Yet, combining that same creativity, skill with the finest gear will, as always, win the day.
