I have both a LS-4000 and a LS-8000, both well worth the money. Like Tina
said, you can't get much better than them. Try Vuescan first though. Unlike
Tina, I can;t never get the SIlverfast demo to work right (3 demo over 3-4
years on different machines) whereas Vuescan works right out of the box for
me. YMMV.
