[Leica] Walking around with my M8

The Leica USA web page says "For full details and to schedule an upgrade, 
please contact your authorized Leica dealer or call Leica USA at 
1-201-995-0051"

So I went over to my local authorized Leica dealer, Keeble and Shuchat, and 
the guys in the service department had never heard of the upgrade program 
and had never seen an M8. Odd.

So I phoned Leica USA at the number given, and they told me that they'd get 
back to me in March with an exact schedule for when I should send my camera 
in, that their upgrade pipeline is full.

The cynic in me wonders if this delay is intentional so they can charge the 
higher prices. They did NOT ask me the serial number of the M8, just my 
name, phone number, and email address.
