The best pencil, bar none, is the Pentel 120 A300 series.

I once wrote well over 300 pages, in one semester, with the 0.7mm.
Never even a hint of fatigue from these pups.
I've had to buy several sets, as the kids keep taking them, when I  
ain't looking.
