LTM lenses play well on M2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 / 8.2 The Visoflex, focus mounts and bellows, all endure and play well with M8. The SL glass plays well with R3 through 8/9/DMR. If we're celebrating 100 years of Leica I have a hard time imagining why we would not focus on Leica systems. Yes. It's also wonderful that all sorts of folks made adapters to mate Leica glass to other systems; as those of us who've done this have testified; the other systems provide a different look than the sensors chosen by Leica. If we're celebrating Leica why would we not wish to demonstrate what Leica has provided and achieved. my 2 cents Fond regards, George george@imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Jan 3, 2009, at 1:12 PM, tl wrote: > It is > the Leica glass that is enduring.
