It's being acquired through a grant proposal, if it comes through. It had to be turned in by 3PM today. If I had my choice, I would be seriously looking at a Kodak IQSmart scanner. Even a used one, but with a warranty, would do. Mmmh, maybe there is a possibility of getting one at auction. I'm not shy about taking advantage of a business with busted knee caps. sd On Jan 8, 2009, at 7:36 AM, Ric Carter wrote: > This is scanned on a Epson (I think) 4870 from a 120 negative. > > I find it adequate for 35mm. > > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/ricc/2008/32/32-cypressB.jpg.html> > http://tinyurl.com/6ppyl8 > > I can send you a full strength, unpolished scan if you like > > Ric Carter > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/ricc/ > > > > > On Jan 8, 2009, at 10:04 AM, Slobodan Dimitrov wrote: > >> Hi all; >> >> Anyone have any experience with the Epson 750? >> >> How adequate is it in producing an 8x8 from a 120 neg? >> >> Any comments on its ability to scan 35mm? >> Will it produce a passable image at 6"x8"? >> >> TIA, >> sd >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
