Your visitors were very lucky that you have some many languages though! I always admire the skills of our European friends in this. I often volunteer to take photos for people with their cameras too. It is a nice way to say hello to a stranger. If they are pretty, they might end up in my camera as well! Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/e http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ Pick up your camera and make the best photo you can. -----Original Message----- Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 17/01/2009: it is a small world While driving around the mountains near Alcoi with a visiting friend from Denmark, we happened on this couple who approached me and attempted to ask me in Spanish to take a picture of them with their camera. After moving through English, German and Dutch, it turned out that the best way to speak with them was Dutch to the man and Polish to the woman. We live in a wonderful world with open borders. http://www.greatpix.eu/gallery/4253606_netUM#456785194_yXxpA-O-LB Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.nathanfoto.com Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
