Crystal Canyon, #3, was my first approach down into the valley when I was a kid. #4, Teewinot, may be my favorite of all the peaks, including the Grand, because it is the most prominent peak visible from Jenny's Lake and it was beneath Teewinot that I first slept in the valley. You doubtless know that Teewinot is the Shoshone word for shining peaks or pinnacles. Seth who is where it's been snowing continuously all day till about two hours ago when it began mixing with sleet and now the snow is coming down in sort of chunks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Barbour" <kididdoc@cox.net> To: "LUG Group" <lug@leica-users.org>; "LRF reflex" <leicareflex@freelists.org> Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 3:23 PM Subject: [Leica] Jenny Lake, Tetons >a few images taken 2003... > > Jenny Lake at dawn, > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/edge-dawn.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/edge.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/jlboat.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/view.jpg.html > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/tetons3.jpg.html > > > R8 R Summilux 50mm and 80mm... > > > thanks, > > > Steve > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
