I don't know enough about the subject to know for sure
but I think Doug H. works very hard at getting it all "right:"
pose, light, correct details, and true to environment.

Me? I just feel great when I get a critter
in focus,
and
decently composed.
and
whenever I return from a wildlife trek
my utmost respect goes to the specialists
who know what they're photographing in the wild
including habitat, diet, and mating rituals.

George Lottermoser
