I've messed with it since, but I think I'm leaving the sky pretty light because it accentuates the feeling of "sameness". I know about the digital crud you're referring to - I'm not sure I can fix it. I think the artifact was present on the file I scanned from the processor - I had them develop, scan and put on a disk. I was bummed when they were JPEGs, not TIFFs. (Now I know to specify.) I'll look for the negs and scan them myself and see if that helps. As I am dragged kicking and screaming into the digital age, any technical help will be appreciated.
