Thanks for the reply. ?Yes the 12 VDC is not a problem, but the polarity 
would be. ?But it sounds like you have already visited this as a solution to 
carrying both cables, and in my case only having one. ?;-)?


Now that I have had the R8 and DMR properly mated by Leica NJ, I am looking 
forward to a good workout this weekend. ?My wife has a Flyball tournament 
with her Flyball Dog Team this weekend, should be a good test of the R8/DMR.
