I thought I would finish, as I started, with the tigress known simply as T17, who keeps more tourists happy than any other tiger on the planet, simply because her territory in Ranthambhore encompasses the tourist area, including three beautiful lakes, and therefore is seen by more visitors more than any other tiger. On my last drive on this trip we came across her, and kept her company for about 30 minutes, and surprisingly, we were the only jeep present. So it was a great last gift from this magnificent place. She came out of a thicket: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Ranthambhore_001/Ranthambore_20090309_777_001.jpg.html Climbed an incline: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Ranthambhore_001/Ranthambore_20090309_754.jpg.html Sprayed scent marking her territory: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Ranthambhore_001/Ranthambore_20090309_795.jpg.html Gave us a last goodbye: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Ranthambhore_001/Ranthambore_20090309_807.jpg.html We went to a lake called Raj Bhag, and on the opposite shore we saw her mate, the Kachida Male, cooling off. It was a fitting end to an unbelievable trip: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Ranthambhore_001/Ranthambore_20090309_319.jpg.html Cheers Jayanand
