I have sworn off of calf brains and eggs, and tripe, because of the prion thing (mad cow). The strangest one was when one of our boys picked out chicken feet at dim sum. The manager came over and said "no, must be 21". So I had to try it, of course. If I got the drift, just another urban legend :).
