[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Anyone interested in the 90 macro should note that the 75 Summicron (or Summilux, for that matter) will enable a reproduction ration of 1:7, whereas the 90 macro, without eyes will enable a rep.ratio of 1:6.7. Essentially the same. So if you have or are considering either of these 75's, and don't intend to get the goggles for the 90 macro, don't bother unless other qualities like the collapsibility are your main reasons. Or get the 90 and goggles, as that combo definitely allows the highest magnification on an M without Visoflex. BTW, the 75 Summicron works excellently in the close up range, what with its floating elements for correction. The Summilux doesn't do as well. -- * Henning J.
