In Scandinavia, or Belgium or the Netherlands, I suspect that attitudes to street photography are not very different from those in North America. The difference may simply be that there are more people walking on the street. And as with so many other things, Amsterdam is an exception to the above, at least in my experience. And finally, Lluis's photos are wonderful, and I have had a drink with him at this place twice (at least, I think) :-) Cheers, Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.nathanfoto.com Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog On Apr 1, 2009, at 1:55 AM, Ted Grant wrote: > > Any time I've been in Europe it always feels so comfortable to > "click away" > in cafes and almost anywhere and never, if ever, been accosted or > dirty > looks at my taking pictures of people simply enjoying a lunch or > drink.
