Sad but true. When I moved three years ago I took a stack of printer to
the landfill. Each was more trouble than it was worth, or ate ink like
it was candy, with little to show for it. My Epson 3000 spoiled me and I
couldn't find a decent replacement. 

Fortunately, I think there are good printers out there now that a) don't
have the footprint of a loveseat, 2) don't pout when a cold front moves
through, and 3) accept carts large enough that you don't feel like
you're dropping coins into a one armed bandit if you print a lot.
