DNG is Adobe's inter continental ballistic missile for world domination in the graphical software arena :-), so it will be constant irrespective of the base RAW file used, otherwise their raison d'etre for using DNG is gone. IMHO, Adobe is more dangerous than Microsoft in our software world, and we must support as many independent software producers as possible, including Nikon & Canon, to keep some competition going.
