Doug,

That is a great image.  I read recently that those large ears contain blood 
vessels that serve as radiators to cool the beast down.  The flesh is 
translucent enough that these are visible in your photo. You nailed the 
focus right on the eye, so you must have really made that one perform as the 
perfect model, with no releases or fees required.;-)
