I have plenty of Nikkors that I can use. The novelty of using R lenses wore off long ago, but I'm still using R glass, pretty much exclusively. Plus, the ability to use R lenses on a camera capable of performing at high ISO makes minor inconveniences -- like having to shoot in A mode -- irrelevant. Not that low light performance is always essential. I'm ordering a 16x24 inch print of the following image. The original has impressive detail. (You can even see the flag stick on the distant green). I have high expectations that the print will look medium-format-ish. http://www.daverodgers.net/Leica/Bandon.htm Dave R -----Original Message----- From: Mark Rabiner [mailto:mark at rabinergroup.com] Sent: Saturday, June 27, 2009 1:41 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] FS: All of my R gear (sadly!) Say but David I recall says you can see ok stopped down to f 5.6 or even a bit more and it all works out ok. I'm still expecting a Fuji R.
