As you say in effect can't just go "click" and move on. They only pan shaped sensor out there I know of is is made for..... Leica. To fit the 16/9 format. In a Dlux camera. You "crop" when you shoot 2/3 format. Ok its really Panasonic. Its only proper and fitting for Panasonic to be in the Panoramic biz. They should have thought of it earlier. I loved shooting the Dlux with 16/9 format. I know three people shooting with the camera its always set to 16/9. You'd never think it was so useable. Fits right on your TV.
