Barring that, yes, you will need to post-process RAW (DNG) images. You can do it in Capture 1 or in Lightroom or Photoshop or whatever--just pick one you like and learn to use it. But you will need to do some processing on the computer. My M8 pictures are better than any M film pictures I have ever taken (from a purely technical point of view).
